Julie Stirman

Julie Stirman holds a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Miami in Florida. After graduating, Julie moved to New York, where she studied under prominent vocal technician Marianne Challis. Venues where she has performed include: The Oak Room (New York City), Carnegie Hall (NYC), The Juilliard School (NYC), The Metropolitan Room (NYC), New York State Theatre Institute, The Forge (London), Shakespeare Festival of Dallas (Texas), and Lyric Stage (Texas). A native of Tennessee now living in London, Julie currently divides her time between performing, teaching, writing and recording. Recently, Julie’s lyrics for her song “Please Waste My Time” were featured in the September issue of American Songwriter magazine.

Julie co-wrote and performed on Open Road Americana  and Acoustic Christmas.
